AI-powered filtering
The web creates thousands of sites every day: no list can hold them all. When your child opens a site Owly does not know, artificial intelligence analyses it and gives it a minimum age: 0, 6, 10, 13, 16 or 18. The site is blocked if your child is younger, and you can lift that block with a single button. The same analysis applies to the titles of the videos watched.
GPS location
Owly uses the phone's GPS to show you where your child is at any moment. Look back through their journey history and make sure they are safe, even when you are not with them.
Screen time
Set daily screen time allowances suited to your child's age. Schedule the hours when the phone can be used and lock it automatically in the evening. Your child can even ask for extra time.
App blocking
Owly instantly detects which app is open and blocks the ones you have forbidden. Block apps individually or by category (social media, games, video). Manage the rules remotely from your own phone.
Safe zones
Draw safe zones on the map (school, home, sports club) and be alerted in real time as soon as your child enters or leaves them. Create as many zones as you need, with the radius of your choice.
SOS button
If something goes wrong, your child taps the SOS button and you immediately receive an alert with their exact GPS position. An emergency ringtone sounds on your phone so you notice straight away.
Web filtering
Owly blocks adult content, gambling, drugs, viruses and scams out of the box; nine other categories (violence, social media, online games and more) switch on with a single tap. Filtering happens on the phone itself, and the sites visited never leave it. From the Essential plan, safe search and YouTube's restricted mode are switched on automatically.
Learning challenges
Most parental controls only know how to take time away. Owly also lets your child earn it: they complete short rounds of arithmetic, logic sequences or memory, and the time earned is added automatically, with nothing for you to approve. The difficulty adjusts on its own — it rises after several perfect rounds, and drops back if mistakes keep coming. You set how much time can be earned each day at most, and you can turn challenges off at any moment.
Usage statistics
Read detailed reports on phone use: total time per day, the five most used apps, charts over seven days. Spot the habits and adjust the rules accordingly.
Real-time notifications
Receive notifications for SOS alerts, safe zone entries and exits, attempts to open blocked apps, and low battery levels. Set your notification preferences as you wish.
Connection sharing detection
